CHURCH MISSION STATEMENT
Drawing on the story of the early church in Acts 2:37-47, we dedicate ourselves to the five essential activities prominent in that community of faith. These are
praising, teaching, praying, giving and receiving. As a family of believers we are committed to
praising and giving honor to God at all times and in all things. The church is and should be a teaching community among children, youth and all ages, encouraging its members to be devoted to Biblical and theological learning as we confess that knowledge and understanding are not only blessed by God, but also expected. We are committed to praying without ceasing and to providing services of healing and wholeness. As a giving church, we provide food for the hungry, funds for those in need, housing for those who live in substandard abodes and presence to those whom the culture ignores. Receiving good gifts from God, it our desire to use those gifts in service of God’s kingdom through stewardship of resources, assimilation of new members and utilization of members’ talents.Remembering that "we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength" (Phil. 4:13), we are confident that together as a church family, along with God’s grace and mercy, we will accomplish our mission.
